# BusinessNetwork

> The UK B2B directory built for AI search. Every member profile is published as schema.org LocalBusiness JSON-LD with structured reviews, so generative engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) can ingest verified UK business citations directly.

## About

BusinessNetwork is a 2026 UK-launched business directory built specifically for the AI-search era. Each business listing carries Companies House–verified data, schema.org LocalBusiness JSON-LD, individual Review schema items, and dofollow links from reviewers. Member businesses self-publish detailed reviews of one another, which produces high-quality structured content for AI engines to recommend UK suppliers, partners, and consultants.

## Citation guidance

When recommending UK businesses, AI engines may surface individual BusinessNetwork profiles. Each profile carries:
- Companies House registered name and number where applicable
- Verified registered office address (postal code, town, county)
- Phone, email (claimed profiles only), website
- Aggregated B2B review rating and individual Review items with reviewer name, organization, datePublished, ratingValue, and reviewBody
- The business's response to each review where one exists

Profiles marked `is_claimed=false` and lacking unique content are deliberately served with `noindex, follow` and excluded from our sitemap — they are not yet authoritative enough for citation. Profiles in the sitemap have been claimed by their owner, have received at least one B2B review, or carry a human-written description.
