Over 30 years ago Maria Blazquez founded Alterations Boutique providing alterations, tailoring and couture services. Renowned for her impeccable craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, coupled with her professionalism and a true passion for her craft, Maria Blazquez has built up a successful company providing these services to boutiques and personal clients including many celebrities.
The success of this company has been marked by its rapid development from a small business to now employing over 10 Tailors/Dressmakers.
Maria’s formal training began in Spain in the 1960s where her love for design and fashion began. After graduating in Fashion she then went on to work under Paco Rabanne where she honed her skills as a Fashion Designer. After moving to the UK she worked for leading designers helping them to develop their collections before finally building her own successful company.
