The inspiration for PierCap Partners started with conversations between our co-founders, Ashish Jariwala and Zaheer Dhruv, who first connected in 2005. Their diverse personal and professional experiences converged upon many common themes and a shared passion for helping businesses create value. As a young entrepreneur, Ashish experienced first-hand the challenges and opportunities that a small business faces from all sides of the table – as an operator, acquirer and seller. After a challenging start, a leveraged acquisition and many years of continued investment in the business, he executed a successful, but laborious, sale process.
